Nick Swisher, newly acquired New York Yankee, made an appearance on the Michael Kay Show on 1050 ESPN Radio in New York yesterday. This was the first time I had ever heard him and boy was he exuberant. Not only is he overly excited about the upcoming season and how great the team looks, but just about life in general.
He seems to have a great outlook on life and it’s refreshing to hear. As Michael and co-host Don La Greca point out, the last few years the Yankee team has become very conservative and stuffy. Nick brings a great new vibe to the club house that I was unaware he had.
